Moneyball is what Wolf of Wall Street or The Big Short would’ve been if either movie was about sports.
It’s an entertaining flick, and makes even the usually mundane sport of baseball feel interesting. The film is based on real events and people, so there’s always going to be an element of added drama, and that’s something you can easily pick out. This film, however, does a great job of masking that, which is a testament to how well written the film is. Little blubber, all stats. Streamlined. Lean.
Seriously, who even watches baseball anymore like??
