Uh. I saw this movie. I can’t think of much to say. Robert Downey Jr. is in it and he’s cool. Good misdirection. I liked the twists, I liked the mind games. I want to say the movie was innovative for when it came out, what with the CGI and whatever. Idk. There’s a scene where like fifty women are showering naked in a room and it’s strangely not sexual and there’s not even a single titty to be seen. I mean the movie isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either. It’s just disjointed and odd. Shock value for shock value’s sake?
4/10 for effort. I sat on this review for like a week thinking of stuff to say. I got nothing.
I saw it on Netflix, but you can rent it on Amazon. I’m using this new site called JustWatch. This pretty girl showed me the site while we were on a date, and it’s actually a pretty dope site. It takes your recommendations and preferences and suggests films to you based on what streaming services you have, and lets you know where you can rent or buy films if you’re interested.
Protip: Don’t buy or rent Gothika.
